At Hamilton Auto Group, we believe a dealership should be more than just a place to buy a vehicle. It should be a cornerstone of the community. For over three decades, our family has proudly served Eastern New Mexico, West Texas, and the surrounding areas with integrity, care, and a deep-rooted commitment to giving back.

The Hamilton story began when Gary Hamilton moved to Clovis, New Mexico with his Air Force family in the early 1970s. After graduating high school, Gary married his high school sweetheart, Pam Hill, and together they chose to build their lives, raise their family, and invest in the community they proudly call home.

After beginning his career in the automotive industry, Gary purchased his first dealership in 1995 — Big Country Ford, which would later become Hamilton Big Country Ford and today is proudly known as Hamilton Ford. Over the years, what started as a dealership became something much bigger: a family business built on relationships, trust, and a commitment to the people of eastern New Mexico.

In the 1990s, sons Shawn and Seth Hamilton joined the business and worked their way through the organization, learning every aspect of the automotive industry and eventually becoming leaders within the company. Today, Hamilton Auto Group remains family-owned and operated, with the same values that guided its beginning: honesty, hard work, treating people right, and giving back.

The Hamilton family has always been deeply committed to supporting the community where they live, work, and raise their families. Over the years, Hamilton Auto Group has invested in our communities with programs benefiting local youth, including athletics, academic initiatives, leadership development, stock shows, arts programs, and student activities.

From sponsoring youth programs and providing opportunities for students, to supporting families during the holidays and helping organizations make a lasting impact, the Hamilton family believes that strong communities are built through consistent action.

A Legacy of Service

Hamilton Auto Group’s commitment to excellence has been recognized through numerous honors, including being named Business of the Year by the Clovis/Curry County Chamber of Commerce in 2017 for outstanding community support and contributions. The organization has also received recognition from Ford Motor Company and other community organizations for customer satisfaction, leadership, and service.

Today, the Hamilton team continues to carry forward the belief that success is measured not only by business growth, but by the positive difference made in the lives of others.
